THE PROJECT
We contacted students who graduated from secondary school with the highest possible marks, recognising their commitment, perseverance, and dedication throughout their school years.
We offered them a cybersecurity course delivered by one of our Club members, together with a mentoring programme (“light mentoring”) through which our members—where possible with academic backgrounds similar to the students’ chosen fields of study—make their time and experience available by offering advice, guidance, and support throughout their university journey.
This initiative not only provides a meaningful and lasting way of recognising outstanding young people, but also helps maintain a connection that may encourage their future involvement in Rotaract and Rotary, while promoting, in the long term, the growth of our membership through the participation of committed and talented young people.
