Assembly with aperitif for the election of the 2023-24 President and the 2022-23 Board. Including the usual interesting report by Treasurer Campeggio and Auditor Pirondini, followed by the vote. Once the assembly formalities were completed, the floor was given to Gioia Fertonani, President of Rotaract.
The Club has 19 members plus seven candidates, with an average age of 25-26, and meets under the motto “I care,” expressing the desire to do well what truly matters to them. The objectives: to return to active status in the post-Covid era, to be responsive in times of community need, and to renew their board with fresh energy. Among their services are the usual ones with AISM and ComoCuore, a new operational version of the Teddy Bear project (no longer in the hospital but as a Christmas box), Como Pulita, and a project (Green Mission) to raise awareness among children regarding ecology and waste disposal. Secret Santa for children’s Christmas and Felixlandia (an association for the rescue and shelter of cats). Convivial meetings with speakers will be opportunities for personal growth (and perhaps also for occasional fundraising). How talented these young people are! It will be our goal to support them…
