The presence of Luciano Moggi at the June 1st convivial gathering attracted many Juventus fans among the members and guests.

A man of humble origins and a hard worker, after realizing that a career as a football player was not an option for him, he began taking his first steps as a sporting director in football clubs while working for the Railways after participating in a rather crowded competition, a job he left when he was hired as sporting director of Roma and then moved to Juventus as General Director where he had an excellent relationship with lawyer Agnelli, who placed his trust in him for managing the team.
Management that envisioned a majority of Italian players compared to foreign ones for various reasons, from the love for the jersey that Italians can feel compared to foreign players for whom it is just a job, to the possibility of developing players who will one day be part of the National Team; the validity of this strategic choice is demonstrated by the fact that after Calciopoli, Italy has had no further success at the international level. In his work, he never listened to what was said or requested by the fans because their reasoning is “emotional,” and he had confirmation of the correctness of this choice.
Obviously, the questions from those present were many and targeted, and Moggi answered brilliantly.
