La rivista Rotary, nota come “The Rotarian” fino al 2020, è la pubblicazione ufficiale del Rotary International.
Inizialmente, nel 1911, il suo scopo era diffondere messaggi standard e notizie tra i club e i soci.
Oggi, la rivista si è evoluta (in formato digitale) per includere articoli su argomenti di attualità, cultura e storia, oltre a notizie rotariane.

Un distretto è un’area geografica in cui i Club sono concentrati in vista dei compiti amministrativi del Rotary International e le cui attività ed organizzazioni hanno la sola funzione d’aiutare i singoli club a promuovere lo scopo del Rotary stesso, senza con ciò sminuire il servizio reso dai Club e dai singoli rotariani a livello locale.
|| Rotary International is structured in Clubs, grouped into Districts.
A district is a geographical area in which Clubs are concentrated for the administrative tasks of Rotary International and whose activities and organizations have the sole function of helping individual clubs to promote the purpose of Rotary itself, without thereby diminishing the service rendered by Clubs and individual Rotarians at the local level.

I club Interact raccolgono ragazzi e ragazze dai 12 ai 18 anni per aiutarli a sviluppare le loro doti di leadership e scoprire il valore del servire con disinteresse.
I club Interact organizzano almeno due progetti l’anno, uno a beneficio della loro scuola o comunità e uno per promuovere la comprensione internazionale.
I Rotary club padrini fanno da mentori e guidano gli Interactiani a svolgere progetti e sviluppare le loro doti di leadership.

|| Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12 to 18 to help them develop their leadership skills and discover the value of selfless service.
Interact clubs organize at least two projects a year, one to benefit their school or community and one to promote international understanding.
Sponsored Rotary clubs mentor and guide Interactors in carrying out projects and developing their leadership skills.
Le Rotariadi rappresentano uno straordinario momento di aggregazione tra Rotariani di diversi Club di appartenenza.

|| International Inner Wheel is a women’s association closely linked to Rotary International, sharing its ideals, goals, and objectives.
It is one of the world’s largest women’s volunteer organizations, founded on friendship and service, thus fostering international understanding.
Il marchio, oggi riconosciuto in tutto il mondo, ha subito diverse trasformazioni.
1905
Il primo emblema era una semplice ruota di carro, simbolo di “civiltà e movimento”.
1912
Il Rotary diventa un’organizzazione internazionale. L’emblema del club dovrebbe presentare una ruota con ingranaggi intagliati nel bordo esterno. I raggi dovrebbero essere disegnati per indicare forza. Lo scopo degli ingranaggi era duplice: attenuare la semplicità del design e simboleggiare il vigore.
1923
La ruota ora ha 24 denti e una tacca centrale per l’asse, diventando un vero e proprio simbolo di funzionalità e azione.
A partire dal 2013, l’emblema moderno ha mantenuto il design del 1923 con l’inclusione della parola Rotary accanto alla Ruota del Rotary, evidenziando i colori blu e oro, che rappresentano Eccellenza, Leadership e Impegno nel Servizio Umanitario.

|| The Evolution of the Rotary Symbol
The brand, now recognized worldwide, has undergone several transformations.
1905
The first emblem was a simple wagon wheel, a symbol of “civilization and movement.”
1912
Rotary became an international organization. The club emblem would feature a wheel with gears carved into the outer edge. The spokes would be designed to indicate strength. The purpose of the gears was twofold: to soften the simplicity of the design and to symbolize vigor.
1923
The wheel now had 24 teeth and a central notch for the axle, becoming a true symbol of functionality and action.
As of 2013, the modern emblem has retained the 1923 design with the inclusion of the word Rotary next to the Rotary Wheel, highlighting the colors blue and gold, which represent Excellence, Leadership, and Commitment to Humanitarian Service.
Rotaract è un’organizzazione di club di servizio promossa dal Rotary International, rivolta a giovani tra i 18 e i 35 anni, che si dedicano ad attività di volontariato e sviluppo personale, professionale e di leadership, mantenendo forti legami di amicizia sia a livello locale che internazionale.
I club Rotaract sono promossi dai Rotary Club e si impegnano in progetti di service, spesso collaborando con il Rotary, ma differenziandosi per l’approccio “hands-on” nel servizio, ovvero con un coinvolgimento diretto dei soci.

|| Rotaract is a service club organization promoted by Rotary International, aimed at young people between the ages of 18 and 30 (or 35), who dedicate themselves to volunteer work and personal, professional, and leadership development, while maintaining strong bonds of friendship both locally and internationally.
Rotaract clubs are sponsored by Rotary Clubs and engage in service projects, often in collaboration with Rotary, but differentiated by their hands-on approach to service, meaning direct member involvement.
