1905Il primo emblema era una semplice ruota di carro, simbolo di “civiltà e movimento”.
1912Il Rotary diventa un’organizzazione internazionale. L’emblema del club dovrebbe presentare una ruota con ingranaggi intagliati nel bordo esterno. I raggi dovrebbero essere disegnati per indicare forza. Lo scopo degli ingranaggi era duplice: attenuare la semplicità del design e simboleggiare il vigore.
1923La ruota ora ha 24 denti e una tacca centrale per l’asse, diventando un vero e proprio simbolo di funzionalità e azione.
A partire dal 2013, l’emblema moderno ha mantenuto il design del 1923 con l’inclusione della parola Rotary accanto alla Ruota del Rotary, evidenziando i colori blu e oro, che rappresentano Eccellenza, Leadership e Impegno nel Servizio Umanitario.

1912Rotary became an international organization. The club emblem would feature a wheel with gears carved into the outer edge. The spokes would be designed to indicate strength. The purpose of the gears was twofold: to soften the simplicity of the design and to symbolize vigor.
1923The wheel now had 24 teeth and a central notch for the axle, becoming a true symbol of functionality and action.
As of 2013, the modern emblem has retained the 1923 design with the inclusion of the word Rotary next to the Rotary Wheel, highlighting the colors blue and gold, which represent Excellence, Leadership, and Commitment to Humanitarian Service.
