Information, awareness, and above all, trust between the actors are essential to achieve results. Trust that must be directed toward the vision of a business idea that is about to be born or<\/div>\n<div>even going beyond a crisis that needs to be overcome. More foresight regarding the business model than the business plan, which often remains unfulfilled.<\/div>\n<div>There are also biases in behavioral finance to be wary of. A cognitive error that leads investors to believe something is familiar and known when, in reality, it is not. Instead, the investor must be able to feel truly comfortable with the investment and its risk\/return expectations.<\/div>\n<div>Perhaps, then, we should look toward a context animated by conscious operators, predisposed to a selection oriented toward the real development of the system and motivated by &#8220;moderate&#8221; objectives\u2014which does not mean modest, but consistent with the real potential of each specific investment. Finally, better financial &#8220;education&#8221; and an authentic sensitivity to sustainability are required: generating &#8220;smart capital&#8221; to fuel the market.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Professor Giovanna Dossena<\/strong> is the President of AVM Gestioni SGR and AVM Associati S.p.A. She founded AVM together with Claude Breuil<\/div>\n<div>in 2016.
