Exam time, not only for young students dealing with their final exams but also
\nfor Rotarians dealing with the questions from President Gianluca Lombardi who
\nwanted to verify whether, at the end of his term, we have improved our
\nknowledge of the “essence” of Rotary.<\/p>\n
Everyone passed (or almost) with full marks and so
\nGianluca recalled the interesting meetings of his year (while images of them scrolled
\non a screen at the back of the room), expressed satisfaction with what was accomplished
\njust as we all were (moreover with the record in recent years of new member
\nenrollments, 8), the acknowledgments already written in the bulletin (for the series: who
\nread it?) and finally, after pinning Marco Mazzitti as a new Member, for the 96th consecutive year
\nthe traditional handover ceremony took place. Francesca Maria
\nd’Asta, the first female President in the club’s history will surely surprise us with other
\nspecial effects. But that will be another story to experience. Oh, I forgot….”in
